At a meeting of the main group held at the Chief Minister’s residence on Thursday on the issue, the state government said that if such children were raised by their relatives, they would be given a monthly stipend of Rs. 4,000 has been decided. This amount will be paid until the child reaches the age of 18.
Notably, the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment has implemented a parent scheme of parenting. In which assistance of 3 thousand is paid every month. If the parent dies or the mother remarries after the father dies, the plan will cover child support. However, if the annual income of foster parents is Rs. 2,000,000 and in urban areas Rs. 66,000, they are eligible for assistance.
Rs. 3 thousand per child will be given
In case of death of the child’s father and remarriage of the mother leaving the child, Rs. 3 thousand per child per month will be given under the foster parents scheme till the age of 18 years. The District Child Protection Unit, Ahmedabad has to contact the office for this operation.
In addition, in the case of parents whose children have been hospitalized due to coronary positivity and no one is taking care of their children, children between the ages of 0 to 18 will be admitted and cared for in the following institutions.
